Why Isn’t Stalking Taken Seriously, And What Can Be Done To Protect Victims?

As we approach, as the song goes, the most wonderful time of the year, Watson Ramsbottom have been donating toys and gifts and treats for women and children spending their Christmas in refuge across Lancashire.

This is the second consecutive year Watson Ramsbottom have been donating gifts for those less fortunate that may not be expecting any gifts this Christmas. Both refuge staff and families were extremely appreciative last year and this year we are hoping we can give every child in the refuge a gift on Christmas Day.

The donations were arranged by Trainee Solicitor Kalya Parker-Livesey (pictured) from our Family Team, collecting various gifts including vouchers, jigsaws, teddies, chocolates and treats.

The gifts collected for the refuges are to help families in crisis that don’t have the financial resources to give their children the magical Christmas they deserve.

A special mention must also go to Stokers furniture and carpet head office in Southport for their donations as they have been extremely generous in helping us to create a fabulous Christmas for the refuge families.
